Summary

At a high school where the students are literally divided into predators and prey, friendships maintain the fragile peace。 Who among them will become a Beastar—a hero destined to lead in a society naturally rife with mistrust?

As gray wolf Legoshi and brown bear Riz begin their final showdown, Riz confesses to another heinous crime! Back at the black market, red deer Louis has a revelation and threatens to abdicate his leadership of the Shishi-gumi lion gang。 Turns out it’s even harder to leave a criminal syndicate than it is to join one。 Then, Legoshi receives a gruesome offer to help him prevail in his battle with Riz…

Ok so overall I very much enjoyed this novel。 The hype over the fight was very well received。 Without spoiling I will say that the author did such an amazing job on character development and plot。 Like this book was very good but there were a few things that confused me。 I feel like the main character (レゴシ) kind of went out of character form。 When I do read the 12th book I do hope the author kind of puts レゴシ in a type of situation where he can reflect on his past self。 But overall I truly did en Ok so overall I very much enjoyed this novel。 The hype over the fight was very well received。 Without spoiling I will say that the author did such an amazing job on character development and plot。 Like this book was very good but there were a few things that confused me。 I feel like the main character (レゴシ) kind of went out of character form。 When I do read the 12th book I do hope the author kind of puts レゴシ in a type of situation where he can reflect on his past self。 But overall I truly did enjoy this novel and I cant wait to read the 12th book! A prediction I have for the 12th book is that レゴシ will probably create a friendship with ルイス。 Overall such a great series。 。。。more

I feel like the resolution trashed one of the larger themes of self-control over giving in to baser instincts。 So, this volume, for me, is a significant let down。 I’m curious to see how Legoshi’s life away from school progresses。 I’m sure it will confound and delight while bucking expectations。 I also continue to be up an down on Paru Itagaki’s art。 At times the gesture styling is dynamic and energetic。。。 other times frenetic and ambiguous。 It often feels incomplete。 If I’m not feeling the stor I feel like the resolution trashed one of the larger themes of self-control over giving in to baser instincts。 So, this volume, for me, is a significant let down。 I’m curious to see how Legoshi’s life away from school progresses。 I’m sure it will confound and delight while bucking expectations。 I also continue to be up an down on Paru Itagaki’s art。 At times the gesture styling is dynamic and energetic。。。 other times frenetic and ambiguous。 It often feels incomplete。 If I’m not feeling the story, I find myself looking for the faults in transitions and composition。 。。。more

I like how the conflict between Tem’s murderer and Legoshi ended。 It was also interesting to see the development of Legoshi and Louis’ friendship。 We finally see and learn more about Legoshi’s grandfather。 I like learning about Legoshi’s family history and I hope we get more if it。

Louis and Legosi are officially friends!! <3

Somehow the ending of this arc felt anticlimactic despite its high stakes。 I feel like Legoshi's character arc took a weird turn and retconned all of the work he was doing in previous volumes and it felt jarring even though I had been spoiled for that moment。 Somehow the ending of this arc felt anticlimactic despite its high stakes。 I feel like Legoshi's character arc took a weird turn and retconned all of the work he was doing in previous volumes and it felt jarring even though I had been spoiled for that moment。 。。。more

Just when I think Beastars can't get any better than it already is, Paru Itagaki pulls out volume 11 and causes an international cultural reset。 This volume literally had me in tears from how beautiful the friendship between Legoshi and Louis is becoming。 If you aren't already reading Beastars, volume 11 is definitely worth picking up the series!!!
